Season 8 Events

Everyone’s favorite way to kick off the festival is back! ATX has teamed up with Geeks Who Drink to bring attendees another awesome night of TV Trivia! Gather your friends – new and old – and test your TV knowledge. As usual, we’ve got fantastic prizes and special surprise guests planned, and there will be a cash bar and snacks available for purchase!

Teams are limited to six people, and can be as small as one, but remember one is the loneliest number (cue music). If you’re attending alone, but don’t want to play alone, make a new friend in line or ask a volunteer to help you find a team to join!

Open to ATX Badgeholders and Thursday Wristbands, and remember to RSVP!

We’re so excited to present TV Under the Stars, our annual Outdoor Screening & Music Showcase, at the Hotel San Jose on Friday, June 7! We’ll have live music, amazing snacks and drinks, community organizations, and a sun-down screening of a trio of NBC comedies BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE GOOD PLACE, and SUPERSTORE.

We’re even more excited that Lauren Ash (Dina, SUPERSTORE) will be in attendance to introduce this awesome event, that is, as always, free and open to the public!

In addition, this year ATX Festival is joining the Wear Orange campaign to honor all survivors of gun violence, remember those killed and declare that we must do more to reduce gun violence. Wear Orange began with the friends of Hadiya Pendleton, a 15-year-old Chicago high school student killed by gunfire. After her death, her classmates decided to honor her life by wearing orange – the color hunters wear in the woods to protect themselves and others. Since then, orange has been the defining color of the gun violence prevention movement.

Learn more at wearorange.org and remember to wear orange to the event!

This event is free and open to both ATX attendees and the general public. RSVP here!

We can’t wait for you to join us at the newest event to join the ATX TV Festival – the TV Theme Song Karaoke Party! ATX has teamed up with Austin’s Permanent RCRD Studios and The TV Dudes Podcast to bring attendees an awesome night of karaoke, sing-a-longs, and more!

Sign up to belt out your favorite TV tunes, play some games, and sing along with your fellow ATX Attendees as they take to the stage! Wanna dress up as your favorite TV show characters? YAS. We’ll be doing that too! We’ve got fantastic prizes, special surprise guest singers, and a cash bar and snacks available for purchase! Come close out the festival in a place where everybody knows your name and we’re always glad you came!

Open to ATX Badgeholders and Saturday Wristbands, and remember to RSVP!
