We’ll have Q&As after Programming, and it's always good to be prepared!
Pro tip, when thinking about what you’d like to ask, please make sure you actually ask a question and stay away from the non-questions, aka something that doesn't end in a question mark. For example - "I’m a writer/actor/producer/director as well, and I think that blah, blah, blah." Y'all. That's not a question, and thus, should not be part of a Q&A.
Austin and our TV Community are in the spotlight during Q&As, and all year we hear how wonderful and smart ATX TV audiences are. Also by keeping the questions short, smart, and to the point, we can get as many in as possible!
Fast Forward Tickets
To help you have the best festival ever, select Badgeholders have access to digital Fast Forward Tickets. Similar to our former Fast Passes, Fast Forward Tickets allow you to line up in a priority line (the Primary Line) when attending a piece of Programming.
You will be able to select your Fast Forward Tickets prior to the Festival, and more information about how to select Tickets will be sent to Badgeholders closer to the Festival.
Keep in mind that not all Programming and Events will be eligible for Fast Forward Tickets, and Tickets won’t be made available for the whole theater/venue capacity - only about a third of a venue. Thus, if you didn’t get a Fast Forward Ticket to something, NEVER FEAR! You can still attend! You'll just line up in the Secondary Line at the venue.
TV Passes do not have access to Fast Forward Tickets.
Camp and GP Badges are both able to select Fast Forward Tickets.
Camp Badges can receive up to six (6) Fast Forward Tickets to use during the Festival, and GP Badges can receive up to four (4) Fast Forward Tickets to use during the Festival.
You will be able to select your Fast Forward Tickets prior to the Festival. Tickets are available first come, first reserved, and are confirmed once you've selected them. More information about how and when to select Tickets will be sent to Badgeholders closer to the Festival.
A Fast Forward Ticket allows you to line up in the Primary Line at a venue, which is let in ahead of Badgeholders without Fast Forward Tickets and TV Passholders.
In order for your Fast Forward Ticket to be valid, you must be in the Primary Line thirty (30) minutes prior to start time at the
Paramount Theatre and twenty (20) minutes prior to start
time at any other venues. If you arrive later than that, your Ticket is no longer valid and you will need to go to the end of the Secondary Line.
Remember, seating is first-come, first-served and unassigned. Fast Forward Tickets don’t guarantee you a particular seat or section, just allow for priority access to an event.
Important ATX TV Details
We work hard to make sure that all ATX TV Events, including the Festival, are safe, respectful, inclusive, and fun environments for TV lovers from around the world. We know that y’all enjoy being a part of ATX TV Festival because it’s an awesome, laid back community of TV nerds that feel truly at home at TV Camp.
To keep our TV Camp vibe, here’s our basic rule of engagement: Be cool.
So be cool when you spot our Panelists out and about during the Festival. ATX TV Panelists are TV fans just like you, watching and talking about their work and favorite shows with other TV fans. Feel free to chat with them about the series you just watched, or a series (other than theirs) that you like, but do not ask them to sign a stack of pictures. Do not crowd or swarm them.
We’d also like you to be cool while interacting with other folks at the Festival. While you, our wonderful attendees, are overwhelmingly friendly, patient, and accommodating — we ask that regardless of how popular the event or how great the excitement, you treat your fellow festival-goers with kindness. Same goes for our amazing Volunteers – they’re TV fans just like you, and work incredibly hard to make your Festival experience one to remember!
In addition, we want to acknowledge that while we all have a responsibility to our community, everyone has a different risk tolerance. Face masks are always welcome in Festival spaces, and we would like to remind you to respect the decision of those who wear masks.
Be cool, y’all.
The ATX TV Code of Conduct applies to all ATX TV events, virtual and in person (including ATX TV Festival), all our physical venues, and anyone who engages with our social media channels or virtual spaces. All ATX TV participants, including but not limited to attendees, staff, panelists, press, vendors, and volunteers will be held to the same standards.
If you engage with anyone in a disrespectful or inappropriate manner, or do not adhere to our Code of Conduct, we reserve the right to immediately remove or ban you from ATX TV Festival, without refund (if applicable).
Please take a minute to review the full ATX TV Code of Conduct before you attend the Festival.
Y’all, the Texas weather will always be Texas-ing!
Stay hydrated. Take breaks and take care of yourself. Make sure to wear sunscreen. Stay hydrated. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately. Stay hydrated (so important we wanted to say it three times).
And please note, due to available space, many of our lines are located outside. So please be prepared, and alert a volunteer or staff member if you need assistance or water. And a heads up that you are not able to take liquids into the Paramount Theatre, but you can bring an empty water bottle to refill once inside.
